Our Team

KIM LYON

Window Accents was originally established in the basement of owner, Kim Lyon. At that time, Kim wore all the hats - designer, fabricator, and installer. Now Kim focuses on working with clients to design their window treatments and fully managing their projects.

All that experience and knowledge of the complete process makes her a clear choice when choosing a window covering professional. In addition to being a Hunter Douglas Certified Dealer, she is also a graduate, as well as a former teacher, of the Professional Window Coverings Sales Class.

As a Member of the Window Coverings Association of America and an expert in custom curtains and drapes in Cincinnati, Kim keeps up on the latest trends, designs, and product knowledge to bring you the very best service with a smile. Kim is a Hunter Douglas Certified Dealer and a Certified Installer.

SHAUN LYON

The newest addition to the Window Accents team is Shaun Lyon, the youngest of Kim & Greg’s three children. Shaun began his career as an 8th-grade social studies teacher in Mason City Schools before transitioning into the business world, where he gained 5 years of experience working as a manufacturer’s sales rep in the commercial flooring industry.

Shaun is involved in all aspects of Window Accents. On any given day, you may find him in the showroom, on an in-home consultation, or behind the drill performing an installation.

GREG LYON

Married to Kim for 37 years, Greg has always been a part of Window Accents, as it got its beginnings out of their home. In 1996, he attended Professional Drapery Installation School in Lafayette, IN to help Window Accents and Kim get started.

While maintaining his career in the financial planning industry, Greg has been a constant sounding board installer, cornice board builder, carrier of heavy things, and anything else that was needed to help the business grow.

You will find him managing the design center and day-to-day operations. Greg is a Hunter Douglas Certified Dealer and Certified Installer. Greg leads business development and heads our commercial division.
